BEAR LAKE WITH THE CARLSON CLAN

A few weeks ago, we ventured down to Bear Lake for Wendy's (Wayne's mom) family reunion. I had never been to Bear Lake so I was very excited for this trip. It exceeded expectations! White beaches and amazingly clear water. I want to go back every year. We took the kids on their first jet ski rides and they loved it. We also went through the Minatonka cave. Our kids love caves and Gavin almost walked the whole time. At one point their is a set of 70 stairs in a row! We had to go up and down them. What a workout! You may be wondering how Gage did on this trip. He was 4 weeks old when we went and he was a champ! Slept great and loved being in the sleepy wrap while we walked through the 1 1/2 cave tour. We also got Garden City's "famous raspberry shakes" and let me tell you I would go back just for one of those. Delicious! We had so much fun hanging out with the Carlsons and can't wait for the next reunion! I should also mention I went for my first REAL 4-wheeling ride and Wayne let me drive and I thought I was gonna die Wayne we went down a steep trail and Wayne felt the back come off of the ground! But we survived and now I know what I am doing and can't wait to go again!
