I FINISHED THE MINI and am alive to tell the story

Glory be the race is over! It was a sweltering day. 70 degrees when I left my apt. at 5:30a.m. Here's how it all went down in no particular order.
-forgot my food in the car and ran on a completely empty stomach
-over 12 thousand people participated
-Summer kicked my trash
-ran through church hill downs(for all you non-kentuckians that's where they run the derby)
-the guy that won it ran it in 1 hour an 4 minutes!!!!!!
-thinking of running another one to see what it's like actually having some energy
-didn't have to go to the bathroom the whole way
-watched a girl pee off the side of the trail(in the woods but still!)
-new found respect for Laura, Mel, Jake and Randy! You are all crazy!

I am not sniffing my pit, but kissing my buff bicep

p.s. BIG thanks to Michelle for watching my kids and bringing them to the finish line.
also to my great and greatly prego friend Heidi for taking pictures and cheering me on!
p.p.s in case you are thinking Wayne is a totally lame husband for not being there, he was taking boards, which he is done with and did great!!!!

Way to go, Idaho! Admit it, you are addicted to running now. Next time you do one you should try eating something first! :)
