Us and the Hawkes family
Today we had Gavin's blessing. It was wonderful, Wayne gave him a beautiful blessing, I just wish I would have had sense enought to write it down. Our great friends the Hawkes also blessed there little boy Eli, the boys were born one day apart and are already becoming fast friends. Wayne's parents and sister came into town from Boise for the occasion and we had lot's of fun. Tyson, Matt, Nick, Marsh, Wayne's cousin Jed and Wayne's dad all participated in the blessing. We wish we could had more famiy there, but such is life. Gavin looked so handsome in the adorable little outfit grandma Mortensen bought him. Good thing she bought a 3mo size because it was almost too small! Gavin is such a little chunk, but I love it!

Mom and Dad and Kara say that he is really quite the charmer. Jessica and I wish we had the kind of cash to zip around the country for important events like this, but having been in AZ and SC we know how it goes.
So I LOVE your family pictures, especially the one on the couch. Super cute! And, by the way, i would never guess you had a baby last month because you look WAY to hot! I'm just jealous.
Gavin is such a chunk in that first picture...just by the way he is sitting...it exaggerated it! :) He is so hilarious and stinkin cute...He makes me laugh so much in church, sitting behind you guys with his little wimpers.
Oh my gosh, what a little cutie!!! Your family is so cute! Reading your blog really makes me miss Jed & Cyndi, because I know you get to see them a lot. (I'm totally jealous, by the way!) But I'm glad you're all doing so well in KY. Maybe someday Shawn and I will get out there to visit.
Gavin is getting so big! He is so adorable! Sorry I didn't make it to the blessing! They asked me to sub in primary last minute! I love the family picture on the top of your blog. It looks really good.
