Gavin Wayne Mortensen. Born Feb. 4 at 2:12 pm (EST). 9lb 6oz & 20.5 in long. I told Sherstine, when she showed me her poll that she had started, that she needed an "Over 9 lb" option. She didn't think I was very funny. I can't believe that he really was over 9 lbs. He's huge. Some people have said that he looks just like Livia while others say he looks like myself (Wayne) and others say he looks like Sherstine's dad. More pictures to come in the next couple of days, including some without his little hat covering his hair.

Way to go. Glad Gavin made it ok. (It makes me want to push Darci along, but guess we had better be patient.) I am up on you by about 11oz. but that is ok -I did it the only way with a big boy. But they don't seem quite so fragile when they are bigger. Don't let grandma and grandpa spoil the kids too much. Hee Hee! They need to save some spoiling for the rest of us.
