I'm home from the hospital and recovering ridiculously fast. Even though he was a chunk-a-lunk I didn't have a single stitch! It's a good thing I'm doing so well since my parents are leaving on Saturday. I don't know what Liv will do without her grandpa, they are best buds and having the time of their lives. Gavin is the sweetest cutes thing ever! He sleeps good and eats like a horse. The funniest thing we learned about him is that his second and third toes on both feet are a little webbed. Very endearing. I'll have to post pictures of that later. Speaking of pictures I'm kicking myself because we didn't get pictures of Gavin and Eli(Michelle's baby)in the hospital together, they are best buds already. Michelle and I had a fun night last night during the tornado warning. We all had to get our babies, leave our rooms, and wait at the nurses station until the warning was expired. It was so funny, I wish I had had time to get the camera. There were about 20 moms and babies and a bunch of tired daddies, all in our night gowns and pajamas cramped into the hallway area waiting out the storm. I had already had my pain killer(which I don't really need but I tell the nurse I need it because it knocks me out, and I'm not going to lie, I just like it:) so I was a little loopy, I'm sure Michelle was enjoying our conversation. We had to stay out there from midnight to one. What a funny memory this will be!

Congratulations! I wish i could have come to the hospital to visit! I didn't have James to help with carrying the kids and keeping them in check. I am so glad you are doing well! Gavin is so handsome! I can't wait to see him in person!

I was going to comment on your hair too but Rachael beat me to it. How the heck do you look all 'done-up' after having a baby? I had to laugh out loud about the tornado story - that is definitely something to remember!
It's because I'd gone to church the day before, my hair usually looks better the 2nd day anyway

Congratulations! First of all, you shouldn't be allowed to look so gorgeous after pushing out a 9 pounder. Glad he's sleeping well and eating well. Livia looks like a great big sister! Let me know if you need anything! The baby is gorgeous too!

I was wondering what the drill would be in the hospital for a tornado warning. Glad it really wasn't bad. That is such a funny memory though. I am so excited for you guys! It makes me so giddy to think we'll be there in 8-10 weeks....hopefully :) Gavin is a cutie...and such a great kid! CONGRATS!

So...just found out that we won't be coming for spring break. I'm totally bummed! We'll be going to visit Johnny's sister in Colorado. I guess it's only fair. He sees his syblings like once every 2 years. Nuts, I really wanted to meet Gavin. Oh well. HOpefully we'll get out there sometime before you're back for good. Thanks for the maternity clothes. And I'm still waiting to see more pics of Gavin!
