The Great Pretender

 So every once in a while Gavin will pretend to be asleep in the car when we get home so that dad or mom will carry him in.  There have been a couple of times where I play a long and get his jammies on and take him to the bathroom all the while saying things like "oh man, Gavin must have been so tired" or "I can't believe Gavin is going to the bathroom while sleeping" You get the picture.  Well, one day he was pretending to be asleep and Wayne thought he would have a little fun with him.  He got on his jammies. Took him potty.  I'm pretty sure he brushed his teeth, and then, because Gavin was still feigning sleep Wayne decided to lay him down, put his head in the sink and wash his hair.  This is when I walked in and wondered what in the world he was doing!  The best part of the whole story is Gavin stayed in sleeping mode through all of this.  I told dad he was "naughty" for doing this to Gavin while he slept.  I sat him up, dried his hair, put his shirt back on and carried him to bed.  His eyes stayed closed the whole time and I only saw him crack the teeniest of smiles once.   

What a character!!!
