Linz is on the left(thanks for the pic mel)

Me and Linz at my sister's wedding in Sept. just before she left for her mission

update: They did an autopsy on Lindsey and found absolutly nothing wrong with her, she was perfectly healthy. It is almost a relief to know this. She was literally taken "in the twinkling of an eye", she felt no pain. It truly was her time. I guess she was too good a person and too sweet a spirit to remain here any longer.
My sweet cousin Lindsey was serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in England when she went for her morning jog and collapsed, she couldn't be saved.
My heart broke when I heard the news. Linz was one of the most awesome people I have ever met. I read her letters every week and was inspired by her testimony. What an amazing missionary! I know that she is carrying on the work in a better place.
I can't imagine the pain her family is going through, but that is why I love this gospel, it hurts to have her gone, but we know that she is well, and we will see her again!
So in the mean time I will cherish the memories I have of Lindsey. The fun times we had on our family campouts, her rosy cheeks and her fabulous hair that we all wanted. We love you Linz, you will be missed, but I know you are ok, and that you are happy.

did this just recently happen?? How sad!! What happend? She just collapsed while running?
So sorry to hear about your cousin...Isn't the gospel so special to have... Just knowing that she was doing what brought her so much joy, and joy to those she taught. Sorry for your loss.
Oh Sherstine - how awful! I'm so sorry!
Sherstine, I am so sorry to hear this. You were probably so shocked when you got the news. My heart breaks when I hear of missionaries passing away on their missions, she is definitely in a wonderful place right now. I am so sorry for you loss.
sherstine - I can't help thinking about your cousin and her family since Wayne shared the news with us yesterday. How is Mark and Luann taking it? My heart goes out to them and all you Spjutes!
So sad.
That is so sad!! Do they know what caused the collapse? I am so sorry for you and your family.
Oh my goodness, bless her family. Im sorry about your cousin Sher, death is certanaly bitter sweet, bitter that they're not "here" at the moment, but sweet that we "know" the eternal perspective of things. my goodness, Im just so happy that she didnt have any pain either.
I'm so sorry for your loss! How sad. It's comforting to have the gospel knowledge and to know that she is in a better place; but still so hard!
Oh Sheristine! My mom just told me about this the other day and it just broke my heart. I am so sorry for your loss, but at least we know you'll be together again, and she couldn't have gone at a better time- giving 100% to the Lord. Our prayers are with your family.
Livy is so darling in her Derby Hat! What a little cutie! I love your family photo by the way. Very beautiful.
I'm so sorry about your cousins. How sad. We'll keep your family in our thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry to hear about your cousin. What an amazing story!
Oh my goodness. I am so sorry. It's hard to understand why things like that happen. I agree that's one reason I love the Gospel too is that we have the knowledge of what comes next and peace that comes from that. We'll remember your family in our prayers.
