HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO ME!

So friday was our 5 year anniversary and it was fabulous. Wayne really wanted to take me away for the night and leave the kids but I was nervous that I wouldn't have fun because I'd be too worried about Gavin, I know, crazy right? Oh well. Wayne got home early from school and showed up at the door with these beautiful roses. Then we went out to eat at J. Alexander's. We had never been there before, it was delicious! At dinner I asked Wayne if he wanted to do something after dinner and he told me he was going to take me over to the Apple store to get me an i-pod! I was so excited because I've been wanting and begging for one for awhile. Then we came home and got Liv to bed and we turned on Grease while I was feeding Gavin, and then we woke up about an hour later, we had both zonked out on the couch! I know, we're totally lame parents. I'm just glad I got to go out with Wayne all by myself. He is the best daddy and husband ever! He is great with the kids, he helps out around the house, and he gives the best back rubs ever. I love you Wayne and I can't wait to see what the next 5 years brings us!

Wow! Those are GORGEOUS flowers! Good job Wayne. You know how to pick em! I am so glad you said that you didn't want to leave the kids home. You and your family are very independent and I love how Livia is social, but it sure made me feel better that you really didn't want to leave Gavin. I am having a hard time with that...I am too overprotective, but want to be more like you and have my child independent and sociable...I'm sure that will come...but Taylor is still a newborn and I am a first time mom. :) Also, that is an awesome Anniversary present!
